Ms. Lensink is an Associate at Kelly Dorsey P.C. assisting with the firm’s commercial litigation and corporate law practice. Ms. Lensink received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Ithaca College. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the George Washington University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Lensink took part in the Health Rights Law Clinic, representing low-income clients in Medicare, Medicaid, and other public benefit matters in the District of Columbia. Ms. Lensink also served as senior staff on the Journal of Environmental and Energy Law, a joint publication from G.W. University and the Environmental Law Institute. In her third year, Ms. Lensink spent six months studying international energy regulation at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in the Netherlands.

 

Before joining Kelly Dorsey, Ms. Lensink was a litigation associate at a premier Baltimore law firm, representing local governments in Maryland. She has also worked in Washington, D.C. as an attorney at an employment law firm, where she handled workplace discrimination, disability accommodation, and retirement matters. During her time at this firm, she assisted in trying a disability discrimination case before the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. The litigation resulted in a six-figure jury verdict for their client.

 

Prior to law school, Ms. Lensink worked in the telecommunications industry with a focus on public media. Ms. Lensink served as a law clerk at the Federal Communications Commission, and also worked for a nonprofit advocating before Congress for stronger data privacy laws, particularly regarding new and emerging children’s media and children’s television.
